The Warehouse is an original and contemporary novel set in Pakistan's dreaded Waziristan, a hotbed of crime, terrorism, and harsh brutality on the borders of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Syed Quais Ali Quereshi, aka "Cash," a Karachi based insurance surveyor, is contracted by his extremely persuasive ex-girlfriend, Sonia to investigate the details of a warehouse fire, and find the recipient of the insurance claim, in the dangerous, drone-infested Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) of Waziristan. Amidst the layers of corrupt police, private security forces, the Pakistani army and scurrilous locals, Cash desperately tries to complete the investigation but attracting unwanted attention proves futile. He is eventually kidnapped by the Taliban and must formulate a plan to escape and return to his family in Karachi.
