Inspired by true events, The Waiting is set in Canada during the late 1980’s—early 90’s, and is the story of a young man's spiritual search for soul—his struggle for love—and revealing lessons learned at the hands of the many different women who flow in and out of his life.  His story breaks the stigma that all men are scum, out solely for sexual gratification.  It speaks to the collective human condition; of old fashion love and respect, spirituality and the relentless strength of the soul when faced with life’s harsh experiences that all but tear it apart—before grinding it under its merciless heel.

The Waiting offers rare insight into the complex inner-workings of men.  Scott, purposefully not given a last name, represents all men who struggle to express their feelings to women or who at the very least—feel that they can. Through his silent, reflective self-examinations, we discover the inner workings of Scott’s tortured soul at its core as it wrestles with the grizzly truths of life.
