Most well-known published works are the bilingual Popular Tales of the West Highlands (4 vols., 1860–62) and The Celtic Dragon Myth, published posthumously in 1911.
“The Story of the White Pet” is going to tell the reader about a White Pet who was destined to be killed for Christmas dinner and so sheep decided to save its life escaping away. On his way a bull met him, a dog, a cat and all of them left their homes in order to stay alive. So they continued their way and kept them peaceably as long as they lived.
