When Kaleen wakes up she realizes that she is now alone on First World. Suddenly her arm and body are revived by something very strange that enables her to soar above the ground.
Doc E. Reynolds, after escaping his enemies’ rage finds himself with a donkey at his side.
Meanwhile, Mr. Draftsman, Galvin and Zion are told of an army of Abstractors led by Dr. Edwards that’s about to take over First World. The monstrosities that follow him are ready to do battle for him in hopes of destroying Mr. Draftsman, Galvin and Zion and take possession of The Article.
At the end of the battle, Kaleen, who has observed the scene from above the clouds, realizes there is one survivor that she must kill.
