Great. Just when I thought my life couldn’t get any worse I got killed by a car that jumped the curb. I awoke to find myself in Heaven. It wasn’t much to look at it. White, puffy marshmallow clouds everywhere and not much else. At least I’m not alone. Meet Guide. His name, not his occupation as he tells me. But as it turns out, he’s actually a pretty good guide. I am not happy. However, Guide assures me that in time I will become more comfortable being here. And apparently I have some work do. Guide tells me that I didn’t tend to my earthly issues very well while I was alive; I have to deal with them now. Guide assures me that I will reap what I sow; my garden will gain beauty and vitality as I help not only myself but the dysfunctional members of my family. Seems some of my issues have to do with them. Go figure. As my family members start to arrive in the garden, I begin to learn more about them dead, then I did when they were alive. How is it possible for one family to have so many skeletons? And some of those skeletons are huge! My father isn’t my father. My mother is a drug addict. And my sister, well, I don’t even want to talk about what she did. Can I find the courage and the strength I need to forgive my loved ones their trespasses? I hope so. Let’s face it, killing them isn’t an option! The Soul Garden Series is intended for adults. This book contains mature subject matter, adult situations and strong language that some readers may find offensive.
