Eleven year old Peter Motlala is crazy about soccer. Half watching the TV news one day he hears the name Botshe Ofentse. Botshe is the local football star, who scored many goals for his team the previous season. Peter wishes he could be like him. He’s popular with everyone.

Peter often watches him playing and admires his excellent control of the ball. He wishes that he could attend Botshe’s coaching class, but it’s for adults only.

Unknown to other people, Botshe is employed by a security firm as an under-cover agent. Just before a public holiday, when the local store was very busy, Peter sees him in the aisle. He tries to talk to him, but Botshe firmly pushes him away.

Distraught, Peter gets on with his shopping. He spots a woman hiding goods in her coat and runs to tell Botshe, who tells the manager. Together Botshe and the manager observe the woman, from the doorway, while Peter waits outside the shop.

The woman walks out of the shop. The manager and Botshe stop her after a struggle and take her to the manager’s office, where she removes her coat. The stolen goods are exposed in inside pockets.
The police are called. The woman is taken away. Peter is rewarded, and Botshe tells him he can attend his soccer class.
