The ultimate evil sits on the most powerful throne in the known world and if left unchecked all the rest of humanity will eventually fall under its sway. A time for heroes, a time for the wise and the brave, to rise up against the tyranny of the ultimate despot. A wizard of great antiquity and proven wisdom would seem the perfect choice but five schoolboys who you wouldn’t trust with their own dinner money? Even the sorcerer is confounded by the vagaries of destiny.
Once again Merdlyn the Wizard along with Billy and David and Steve and Sid and Isaac take on the forces of darkness in an adventure that will see them journey through time, fight their way across ancient Greece and then travel across the wide expanses of the Persian Empire, meeting Gods and mortals, heroes and villains, aided and assailed by mythical creatures, in a valiant attempt to save the future from the past.
