The Shadow Of Departure

These poems were being written between 1989-1999

  water pouch

I have wandered, and in my pocket there is a stream of water

Flowing beside

But thirsty is my soul

I stretched out my hands asking some

Suddenly, without a shelter, my fingers remain   

Lesser the water becomes before me

While people behind gather the water

To quench their thirst.
