The Sacred Mountain: Ode One

Meeting a strange woman through an Indian literary friend, Zen explores the world of Monique, who had been member of a poetry club in her home town. Her twisted attitude to life in general and to love in particular intrigues him and soon he finds himself entangled in a love story at distance. The original idea of a poetry partnership fails and the true character of the love triangle emerges. Zen, having a bevy of beautiful lady friends around through his Internet circle is suddenly driven into a rift between his duties to earn a living and to support his spouse on the one hand and on the other hand to pursue his creative work with the help of his friends. During his life on the African Continent, he encounters stormy passages in search for a way forward that will be acceptable for his spouse and yet be desirable for his ventures. He is fighting clients and authorities for realizations of his projects and flees into his creative world for staying sane. Perhaps many of his relationships are fictitious and imaginative, as creative and practical minds clash over dominating his longing to excel as an artist. Has his mind been deceived by an illusion, or will his endeavours finally be successful for conducting a life that he is dreaming of? The turmoil of incidental happenings has started off inclement weather in his relationships and in the oncoming thunderstorm of feelings he might be swept away by the flood of erotic awakenings he had created. Who will be the friend to stand by him? Will his spouse still support his venture?
