Sig’s back to feeling out of place. She’s back to Nowhereville, South Dakota. She’s left Reggie in Podocia, where he is no longer a cat, but a boy and a prince. Funny how that works.

It's gut wrenching to know she left her long lost father on the wrong end of an exploding volcano while she's stuck in a classroom smelling of body spray and sweaty feet. But the school year pauses for no one and nothing.

But things never seem to go smoothly for Sig. She gets kicked out of her homecoming football game after scrapping with a bully. On her way back to her uncle’s farm, she finds herself in the middle of a terrible storm. Before Sig knows it, she’s back in Podocia and her worries about school and bullies suddenly pale in comparison to what awaits her.

Adding to her burden is a stowaway—someone came with Sig through the magical storm. Someone she’s not particularly fond of.

Boiling lava and ice are just a few things that have it out for Sig on her new journey. There’s also fairies and rock giants—both are equally dangerous if you tick them off.

THE RETURN TO PODOCIA returns us to Sig and The Other World a few months after the events of The Telling Mirror. Will Sig find her father? Will she safely escape the thriving criminal underworld of Podocia? And what royally unorthodox situation has Reggie gotten himself into?

Find out by reading The Return to Podocia.
