The Processes of Faith

This book “The Processes of Faith”, which deals with a very important aspect of the Christian life, is written by Professor Zacharias Tanee Fomum. In this book, the author defines faith as the proclamation of that which has already taken place in the invisible. It is the place where a truth will stick. As Active sites are to a Chemist, so is faith to a believer. Faith is created by obedience to God, prayer and fasting. For faith to be born and grow there is need for hearts that are totally consecrated to God. The author mentions the fact that he who has received an Active Word from God holds on to God no matter what he sees around – that is faith. The need to spend long hours before God, especially in reading and re reading God’s Word for faith to grow cannot be overemphasized. In fact, people ought to spend a lot of time with the Word of God so that it creates faith in them. Nevertheless, the author warns against the dangers of sin which destroys faith. He invites you to cooperate with God so that your faith in Him will be born and grow
