Chapter 25 from the Open Bible Translation of Matthew. The Open Bible is a translation of the New Testament produced in simple English that is easy to understand. It has been produced to enable anyone to create their own video and audio recordings etc of the Bible without any legal restrictions.
Chapter 25 includes the parable of the 10 young ladies (commonly translated as "bridesmaids) and the parable of the Talents. (A Talent was a huge unit of money in the ancient world, possibly equivalent to a million dollars, not a talent in the modern sense). It also includes the analogy of the sheep and goats to illustrate what will happen on the judgement day, and how people will be divided into two groups depending on how they have treated the poor and needy in society.
