It did seem like a dream, but then, there isn’t a better adjective to describe something which began in a flash and then went on over time to make some of the best influences in the lives of all involved. There are ways and there ways. People have stumbled across this path before us, and in what seemed like the spark of a matchstick, have gone ahead to portray some of the best minds history ever recorded. The synonyms aren’t oblivious; it did begin like this.
Life is poetry in itself, and we draw our inspirations from the intimacy of the synchronousness of its nature and our awareness of our own very existence. Today, it is Nelson Mandela; tomorrow, it may be someone or something else. One thing is certain; you will never get bored.
The poems in this collection are more than just poems; they are a depiction of character, an extension of love, of friendship, of the uniqueness in our very distinctive personalities – the very essence of who we are.
I could go on and rave about our virtues so true. We could rally around and put up signs for the world to see. But in the end it all boils down to this same thing: we are more than just bodies of creation; we are elements of knowledge, of consciousness awareness. We understand the music of the universe, and we do not need eyes to see.
This one is for you, Mandela. We love you! We appreciate you! We can see your light, yes, even now! It’s the glow of your aura, shedding its brilliance on this very path you created. Your love is our enthusiasm, your dream our commitment. This is the ground floor of our altitude, the projection of our vision; our innate, driving force.
Poetry is our pride, the written word is our expression, the world is our inspiration, and you are at the very centre of it. We are undefined because we cannot be defined.
Rest in peace, Nelson Mandela. We won’t forget you. No, not ever.
