While out fishing together, Myra inexplicably loses her sight after witnessing a green flashing light. Her father has an odd experience as well, and then Myra's faithful dog also goes blind. His best-known works are the anti-French and anti-Russian invasion fantasy “The Great War in England in 1897” and the anti-German invasion fantasy “The Invasion of 1910.”
