John is a prison counselor, going about his day to day assignments, happy in his boring and average life, when he discovers there is a lot more to one of the killers he's been assigned to.

And it isn't just his plastic hand.

What does prisoner 8476 really want?
How is he able to keep killing in jail?
Is there no way to prevent the deaths?

Knowing that another was just around the corner, John does everything in his power to change the future, but the cleaner still dies at the hands, or hand, of the killer.

And if the prisoner can now kill without even being near someone, who will be next?
