Tate attempts to save the day when an acquaintance of James' becomes involved with a shady character.

James Lucas is a complex man with a varied past. Now that he is in a committed relationship with Tate and Sebastian, he has adjusted his lifestyle accordingly. Even so, when Tate encounters Oliver, one of James' attractive former acquaintances, he finds himself battling feelings of jealousy and insecurity. But it soon becomes clear that Oliver is caught up in his own battles with a shady member of the local kink community. Tate finds himself sympathizing with the confused young man and is pleased when James takes it upon himself to intervene by discrediting Oliver's tormentor. When James' actions backfire, making them all targets and alienating Oliver, Tate decides that it is up to him to try to fix things even if it means putting himself in danger.
