Endrick chooses to save his wife Erin from the evil clutch of his own gypsy clan by plotting to help them and the deposed Viking Lord Brodir capture the High Celtic king Brian Boru and thus hold him ransom in exchange for the treasure horde obtained after the Battle of Clontarf. The plot goes horribly wrong. Endrick is hauled in front of the angry Celtic Princess Shannon to atone for his sin of betrayal. There he is cursed along with his clan of lepers known as "Leperchauns' to guard the massive treasure for 1000 years while Shannon lies down to weep and mourn her father's passing, the high king, who had been murdered during the foiled ransom attempt. Time travels to modern day where a wily gypsy named Jones discovers the only missing piece of the legendary treasure, High King Boru's gold sword, at a rummage sale. The treasure piece is disguised in a wooden scabbard. Etched on the gold sword's blade is verse describing the fate of the legendary treasure (the largest ever accrued on Irish soil) and its guard of Leperchauns. Gypsy Jones sets out on a mission to capture a leprechaun with help hired from a witch named Broom Guilda. Jones hopes a leprechaun can lead him to the Lost Treasure of Princess Shannon as it has become known. The rest of the tale is for you to discover in "The Last Leprechaun: A Blarney Tale!"
