"The Land of Friendship and The Magic Rocket” is a magical fairytale about the Little Key and his friends. This fairytale tells of the amazing adventures experienced by the toys, who learn a lot on their journey, including the importance of friendship.
One magical night the toys notice a shiny golden egg. It is so sparkly that it instantly attracts the attention of the Little Key and his friends! Looking closer, The Little Key finds a secret door leading inside the golden egg!
It is not long before the toys are all aboard a magic rocket ready to journey to outer space. They push the rocket’s button and travel to the Land of Friendship!
But what is a true land of friendship? And why do the toys want to go back to Earth after visiting this other planet?
Maybe the real Land of Friendship is actually our home, where our friends live?
About the Author
Jurgita M Smeu, born on October 6, 1982, is the author of the “Little Key” series in Lithuania. Inspired by her two sons, she began writing and soon attracted the attention of children in Lithuania. Jurgita enjoys combining amazing adventures with educational lessons for the little ones.
It was important to the author to visit kindergartens, meeting her audience. Talking with children and their parents, she developed a successful series starring the Little Key and his friends, guiding children to an enchanted world full of fun and friendship.
The vision of the author: lead children on a journey of discovery, by taking them to the magical world of children dreams, and encompassing the main values of humanity: friendship, nature and love.
Jurgita M Smeu lived in Santa Monica, California, for several years, where she was inspired to write a book about the most breathtaking pearls of nature (national parks in the United States and the beauty of nature). The book named “My Discovery: The Edge of The World” was sold out in the Lithuanian market. In 2013, the author emerged as a short film script writer and film director and was noticed in International Film Festivals. The short film “Not a Fairytale” views the world from the perspective of a small child, whose inner world contrasts with reality. This film was awarded the “best International film” in Italy, and was screened at the Manhattan Film Festival.
Now Jurgita M Smeu is working intensively in children’s literature, creating her stories for children around the world to enjoy. “Each child deserves to dive into his or her dream, to experience many adventures and learn to understand the importance of the person next to us, the value of friendship and love”.
