Sexual purity is highly cherished in Christianity, more so in women than in men. So much so that it’s one of the main benchmarks of a Christian’s true standing. Unfortunately, the modern era with its liberalism and permissiveness has not only brought forth amazing opportunities and possibilities, but it has also come attached with all sorts of evils and struggles. The over-emphasis of sexuality in the western media, the less accountable individual-centered lifestyle and the easy access to sexual content have created a casual approach to sex that has broken the thresholds of Christian morality. And with it all sorts of sexual addictions and compulsive habits.

The church has not been spared. Women in the church have not been spared. While male sexuality is generally appreciated and celebrated across different cultures, the attitude toward female sexuality remains largely subdued. Christian women who are unfortunate enough to get caught up in the snare of compulsive sexual habits find themselves in a strange space. On the one hand there’s the desire to be exemplary Christians, but on the other hand is the struggle to break free from sexual sin – a struggle they find it hard to talk about because of the fear of being labeled, slut-shamed or ostracized.

Is there more to compulsive sexual habits than just sin? Why is stopping not as easy as simply choosing to refrain? What makes sexual habits, particularly pertaining to women, such a touchy subject? Is it possible to break free?

This ebook addresses these questions and more, plus the author's story and personal struggle with a sex-related addiction.
