A Prince. A mission. A storm. An island. All brought together under a sign of destiny - a Lion.

Circa. 1299 A.D. South China Seas. A Prince charged with the mission of expanding the kingdom, is shipwrecked with a few of his crew. Facing a relentless haze, dense jungles, and fierce betrayals, they desperately to find a way back home. Tempers run high and the men begin to despair. But the wise Chief Minister sees the silver lining - under adversity, the Prince is turning into a King. But the Prince may not live to be a King as there seems to be no love lost between the Prince and a faction of his sailors, until they come to know of his dream. The Prince had seen a lion on the island. What the Prince doesn't tell them is that the dream was not over there. But finding himself in a tight spot to prove his dream to appease the men, he starts hunting for the lion.

Overcoming the odds, subduing the First Mate, fending off Pirates plaguing the land, the Prince struggles to achieve his mission. But above all else, he struggles to bring his dream to reality. He wants to end The Hunt for the Lion.

Finally the once Prince and now King is laid to rest at the foot of a forbidden hill guarded by spirits. And with him is buried a royal secret.

But did the Prince's kingdom expand? Did his dream become reality? Did he finally capture the lion? Only the vanishing haze will reveal the end.
