This book started as a single poem by Judith Anne Dellosso to proclaim her spirituality and dedication to the Lord. As inspiration struck, Judith began writing more poems. She would always share her poems with friends. However, it took some encouragement from those same friends to finally get her to compile these materials into a book form.

As you read through these beautiful poems, you will discover the deep faith, loyalty and bond Judith feels towards the Lord. The joy spoken in these poems makes it difficult to believe that someone who has endured the suffering and setbacks that Judith has experienced wrote them. Although the poems speak of worship and happiness, Judith has not always enjoyed the "charmed" life she expounds in her poetry. It is her faith, naivete, generosity and warmth, which make her poetry so beautiful. As you read, you will begin to know some of the happiness Judith feels by simply being close to the Lord.

Judith is a woman who will give up her supper to make sure I have food. She gives freely of herself every day of the year—not just on holidays. Because she is so special to me, I volunteered to do the layout and typesetting of the poems. This short statement about the author is "My Gift" to Judith—a one-of-a-kind woman who honors me by calling me "friend".

Enjoy!
