Whatever your current situation in life, whatever—good or bad, is not happenstance or by luck of the draw. God has divine reasons for everything that happens, and his plan for your life is perfect. As 2 Timothy 4:7 states,
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
God already has your destiny established and it is waiting for you to claim it. You have to fight that good fight, keeping the faith that God will supply all your needs in hard times. Although there may be times you do not feel his presence, God is with you. Sometimes God requires us to step out in faith, like Peter stepping out of the boat to walk on the sea, to apply action to our faith and know beyond any shadow of doubt, he is with us.

Mark was involved in programs that were sponsored by the local police department, and he started in the boxing program when he was 11 years old. He enjoyed boxing and was pretty good at it. The police told Mark that if he wanted to continue to box, he had to stay out of trouble. He stayed out of trouble and boxed throughout his teen-age years. Mark graduated high school in 1984 and left home for the Army two weeks after graduation. Mark became an Army boxer, All-Army boxing champion and Armed Forces boxing champion. He represented the United States on the U.S National Boxing Team, and competed against other countries boxing teams.
