The Brothers Grimm Jacob and Wilhelm were German academics, linguists and authors specializing in collecting and publishing folklore. The stories “Cinderella”, “Hansel and Gretel”, “The Frog Prince”, and others are famous in the entire world. A sparrow meets a dog who’s fled from his master and was starving. The kind bird helps and feeds his new friend, but when the dog falls asleep on a rural road, a wagon appears, and the driver, ignoring warnings of the sparrow, run over the poor animal and kills him. The sparrow in anger begins to take revenge for his friend the way a small and almost powerless in comparison to a grown-up man creature does. And the payment shall correspond to the guilt. Despite its cruelness, the tale is quite suitable for children and is a nice story of a struggle against rank injustice.
