The Crystal Trident is a visual fantasy adventure that introduces the reader to the wonders of the sea in a most unexpected way while it follows 14-year old Archer on a dangerous quest to help those who saved his life.

After a killer wave crashes over his sailboat and carries him through a portal and into the parallel world of the immortals, he arrives with no memory of his past at an underwater settlement.

He awakes and finds a mermaid at his side. She speaks and her words float through his mind like a song on the wind. "You didn't drown. The collar I placed around your neck lets you live in my watery realm. Use its powers and talk to me with your thoughts."

Archer spoke aloud and watched while a stream of bubbles raced past his head. The mermaid’s laugh at his clumsiness rippled like music through the water like music. But when she asked his name, Archer didn’t know the answer her question and panicked. How could he leave this place when he didn’t know who he was or where he came from?

His two newest friends...Boja, a red feather snake, and Manto, a half horse, half fish carpin...help Archer adapt to this alien world and then he accepts a challenge the sends him on the adventure of his life.

With an Ichonaut escort, Archer heads for Coriana Island to find a crystal trident and return the stolen trident to its rightful owners. He’s told to call upon the collar's powers to develop the skills that will keep him and his escort safe from Chion, the evil ruler of the frozen sea. Archer must use his newfound skills to guide them through a dark maze of tunnels called the Sea Dragon Caves along with other obstacles in their path. If Archer and the Ichonauts survive the journey, a larger threat awaits. Archer’s last challenge is Quintar, the largest sea dragon in the immortal world who guards the lagoon Archer must cross to reach Coriana’s shore.

Through the long and dangerous underwater journey, will Archer develop the needed skills that assure his success? Will he discover his identity so he can go home or will he be trapped forever in the land of the immortals?
