The Connection

Richard Delane’s world comes crashing down when he receives word that he has lost the woman he loves, forever. Living without his wife surrounds him in mental darkness, and sleeping in his own bed is unbearable. He inherits a little, helpless cat that mysteriously shows up on his doorstep, giving him something to come home to. Forced to clean up and go out with the boys for food and drinks one night, his mind is changed about giving dating another try when he sees her.

There is something about Cynthia Clark, who is recovering from a previous bad relationship, that draws his immediate attention. Wining, dining, being Cynthia’s rock and shoulder to lean on, he does what it takes to show Cyn that there are still good men out there, capable of treating her the way she deserves to be treated. Cynthia is reluctant to see what being around a man who cherishes her is like. Richard adapts to his new pet and Cynthia is forced to get over her strong dislike for cats in order to get closer to Rich, but little do they both know, that the mysterious cat is the missing piece to their puzzle.
