We live in a time where we are hammered day and night with tales of so-called alpha men who are tireless (if not tiresome) beasts in the bedroom as well as the boardroom. This noisy propaganda doesn't mask the reality that many-- if not most-- men are not alphas. Many-- if not most-- men are born to serve. It is a biological reality that males were evolved to protect and to serve the female. Our society has lost sight of that, and the result is that men feel unrealistic pressure to be something they're not, probably a key reason why men die younger than women.
Although I have no desire to seek any leadership position in the so-called BDSM community, I've had enough of the constant drumbeat in celebration of the dominating male. It's time to celebrate the submissive. Over the years, I've interviewed a number of dommes who share my opinion and who would like to share their stories in a fictionalized format, with their details carefully edited and changed to protect their privacy.
