As we look around at such a divided religious world, we wonder: is this really what God wanted His church to be?

Most people agree that our man-made religious division is not what God wanted; but most of us don’t know what to do about it.

In the churches of Christ, we are trying to live out God’s goals for His church, by committing ourselves to pursue undenominational, New Testament Christianity.

Is that really possible today?  This 13-chapter book walks through some of the God-given beliefs, practices, and goals we find for the church in Scripture, and how churches of Christ are trying to honor God’s plan in those areas.  Along the way, we explore several important questions, including:

·        Does the church really matter in our faith?

·        What are some ways we need to get back to God’s plan for the church?

·        What is the “big picture” of what God wants His church to be doing?

·        How can we keep perspective on God’s goals amidst a divided religious world?

As you study it for yourself, we believe you'll agree that the biblical goals for the church are important to God, and we hope you will join us in pursuing those goals!

This study of Christ’s church is appropriate for teens, college-aged, young adults, or adults, and it is designed to be useful for Bible classes, for personal study, or for handing out to church visitors and friends.
