The essence of the Book is to bring the Body of Christ together; lay aside differences and work together harmoniously! The Book, hopefully, reflects or differentiates between Religion and Christianity. There is a difference, even though symbolically they are related. Church affiliation is important but going to church alone does not save. Salvation is in Jesus—He is the one! While, we as the Body of Christ, are focusing on the insignificants, we have lost a generation of young people. We, individually and collectively, have let the ungodly take over to the point that if one speaks the truth according to the word of God, he or she is persecuted. What happened to us as the collective Body of Christ! And, what is more, we collectively, have not taken a stand! Young people are a lot wiser today than they were in my day, and will not settle for a lot of foolishness. Why should they. My vision for the Body of Christ is practical teaching that will help in everyday life situations—a practical religion.
That is the essence of this book--ad lib, spontaneous conversations!
