Rain Harper and her best friend since diapers, Josie Manning, are all set to enjoy their last girl’s only trip before Josie’s impending nuptials. The two African-American women embark on their first trip outside of the United States on an escorted motor coach tour of Ireland. Rain, an audio book narrator, wants some excitement especially since this is last time she’ll get to spend time with Josie before she marries. Rain has a terrible secret about Josie’s fiancé and wants to tell her friend. Rain’s hoping to find the courage during the trip. Little do they know Rain’s boss has landed them right smack in the middle of a terrorist plot and in the path of the CIA.
Sean Callahan, CIA Counter-terrorism analyst, is in Ireland trying to piece his life back together after a divorce from his actress wife. While visiting his paternal grandmother in Ireland, Sean is called back to work to do a little goodwill mission for the government. Thwarting a terrorist uprising isn’t Sean’s area of expertise, considering he hadn’t been a field agent in over five years. Being African-American and Irish, Sean can’t resist when he discovers the target is a bus full of innocent tourists which are mostly American. He invites his Irish cousin, Tara, to join him so they can pose as a couple on the tour. Rain sees through their charade and calls him on it. Sean couldn’t believe this woman, a mere civilian, made them so quickly. Sean is feeling emotions he thought he had total control over. But he quickly learns that Rain Harper knows nothing about control of any type.
Can two equally opposite people find true love and thwart terrorists, and save the tour without getting killed?
