"Dr. Fixit took out his toothpick and told Maurice to open his tiny little mouse mouth, and then he pressed down on Maurice’s itty-bitty mouse tongue with his toothpick so he could see Maurice’s throat.
'Ah HA!' said Dr. Fixit.
'Maurice, have you been taking your vitamins every day?'
'No, sir,' said the worried little mouse.
It seems Maurice hadn’t been taking very good care of himself. Maurice only liked to eat ants, but Dr. Fixit explained that Maurice should eat other things as well, not just ants.
'Maurice,' said Dr. Fixit, 'I could give you some mouse medicine and vitamins, but you are a very sick little mouse. You will be able to wiggle your skinny little mouse tail in just a few days.'
