Meanwhile, a worried grandmother at Whisperwood asks Nancy to find her granddaughter. adventurous young Jessica Cantwell, last heard from in Fort Lauderdale. She had taken a job as crew on a boat, but she has disappeared and the boat captain was murdered. Once again, murder and mayhem stalk Nancy and fellow 90s Club members Louise and George as they race to save Peter and Jessica’s lives and, ultimately, their own.
The first book in the series, entitled The 90s Club and the Hidden Staircase, was called “A must” for readers of cozy mysteries by Midwest Book Review. The author’s first book, Shadow of the Rock, a historical novel, also received excellent reviews. Midwest Book Review called it “A riveting tale of time and humanity, highly recommended.”
Eileen Haavik McIntire is an active member of the Maryland Writers’ Association and Sisters in Crime. She has ridden a camel in the Moroccan Sahara, fished for piranhas on the Amazon, sailed in a felucca on the Nile, and lived for three years on a motorsailer, exploring the coast from Annapolis to Key West.
