This manual is designed to help you pass the FCC technician exam. Your test will be administered by three Amateur operators who are volunteer examiners.
The exam you will be taking consists of 35 multiple choice questions. You must get 26 of them correct to pass the test. If you encounter a section or a concept, which is difficult, skip it and move on to the next question. If you miss 9 questions, you still have a passing score.
The schematics discussed in sections 6 and 7 of this manual will be found on the last page of your book.
How to use this book:
We will begin with the first chapter, read each section and then study the multiple choice questions located at the end of each section. The multiple choice questions will have all correct answers printed for you in each question. For example: t1a01 (D) indicates the correct answer for this question is answer D. We have some great news, the questions listed in this manual and all other study manuals for Amateur exams are the exact test questions you will be taking on your technician exam.
