Samantha, a successful if eccentric romance book editor, more than meets her match when called on to assist a successful self-help book author, Garfield Chandler. Deadlocked, Sam's tried-and-proven tricks are used against her. Throw in a hidden family history, and a mixed bag of family and friends all being helpfully unhelpful, and life goes from predictable to chaotic.
