Over the course of thirty years, Lorio and Issidris Il’s improbable friendship carried them to every far-flung corner of the Antiquated World on a rambling adventure that would galvanize bonds that would make them inseparable. Together, they would experience pain and poignancy, joy and camaraderie, but all stories must see an end…and the tale of Lorio and Issidris would prove no exception.
Vitiated by the antiquated world’s remorseless flail of misogyny, Lorio and Issidris have stood at the center of the greatest cataclysms of the age. When Lorio abdicates the throne of Lamia, she and Issidris set forth on a perpetual rambling journey over the course of which they experienced the full spectrum of human emotion; joy, sorrow and all things in between. While surmounting every obstacle thrown in their path, the unlikely pair forges bonds that are unbreakable…until each becomes an extension of the other. Yet, inevitably, they encounter the one inexorable foe that one of the pair simply cannot avoid or vanquish.
