Mr. Angle, Hallie's incredibly virile yet headstrong boss, has come down with a cold for what seems to be the first time in his life. Hallie is insistent on playing nurse, but Mr. Angle's machismo demands that he prove to his worried secretary exactly how healthy he is, leading to an erotically-charged encounter. Mature audiences only.
-EXCERPT-
Closing the door behind me, I held the cup out to him, “There you are, sir. And please actually drink it, even if you think it's humiliating.”
“You know, for someone who's my employee, you sure do give me a lot of orders,” Mr. Angle observed.
I smirked. “Well, sir, my job is to know what's best for you, isn't it?”
“I suppose it is,” he replied. “Still, I didn't expect you to be so damned good at it. It's extremely frustrating. Maybe I should fire you, and give the job to someone who isn't such a nosy busybody.”
He gave me a look, and I knew it was a challenge. He saw his machismo as being threatened, and the only way to maintain it was to show exactly who the boss was. I wondered for a moment if he would start thumping his chest, or give a little growl. For a moment, I shivered at the thought of hearing him growl, then pushed the thought from my head.
“That's entirely up to you, sir,” I said, keeping calm, but not about to stand down. “I mean, I thought you were a macho guy, but if a little woman like me is enough to rile you up so bad, maybe you need someone a little more spineless.”
It was a bad idea to say it, sure. But I stand by it. He didn't hire me to be a swooning little damsel, after all. He hired me because I'm damned good at my job, and willing to stand up to someone when I have to. How he handled me actually doing that was completely up to him.
He took the tea with a nod, his eyes never leaving my own. He wasn't going to stand down, and I definitely wasn't going to, either. He took a sip from the cup, his lips tight and thoughtful, as if weighing exactly what he was going to do with me. After taking another sip, he set his cup to the side.
“You're testing me, Hallie,” he said. “You want to see how much I'll push back.”
I paused at that. “And how much will you push back, sir?”
“I'm not going to push at all,” he replied.
I was about to ask what he meant by that, but I didn't have to – he was very quick to show me. He grabbed me by the bottom of my blouse, and with a single pull, he yanked me forward, stumbling as I nearly fell onto him. He made sure I didn't, though, instead catching me in his arms and brushing a hand through my hair.
I froze immediately, surprised and aroused in equal amounts, “Um, sir, what are you doing...”
“You know exactly what I'm doing,” he replied.
