In the previous Adventure, The Audrey Eleanor managed to navigate Whiterock passage and find moorage at the government dock at Read Island. The owner of the little country store has invited the crew to come ashore and visit her island home…

Stone staircases lead upward from the rock walkway we are standing on. There is a natural basin in the rainforest that has been logged and left; now it looks like the ancient Mayans have been at work here. The basin stretches a hundred feet across and rises thirty feet upwards, the walls of the basin have rock retaining walls that layer the south east side of it and resemble an amphitheatre from ancient times.

The walls range from a foot in height to three feet and are roughly two feet wide. These walls are all dry rock constructed; the rocks have all been set and balanced according to shape and size with no mortar. Some of the rocks weigh eighty pounds or more and have been wrenched from the earth by a leprechaun-sized lady and wrestled into place.
