This book is intended to be a basic introduction to the Spanish language for beginners who plan to live or travel in Spain. It is also designed especially for people from the U.K., although it could be appreciated and useful to English speakers from any country. It could also be very useful to learners who are beyond the beginner level. It contains a pronunciation guide, phrases which are useful in everyday life, important vocabulary and cultural information. While not intended to be a book for tourists, even so, it does contain much information and material that tourists could find useful. It also contains an update on the recent May 2015 elections.The author has had several years experience as a Spanish teacher before moving to Spain in 2008 where he currently works as an English teacher.
