"I really enjoyed this story. Derek and Raine captured me from the beginning of the book. Derek was a brooding, obstinate man most of the time, but because the author did such a wonderful job of letting the reader inside his head, I totally understood why he did a lot of the things he did. The heroine, Raine was no shrinking violet either. I like that fact that even despite her humble circumstances, she didn't act like a victim. Despite the ghost of Derek's dead wife haunting the house, Derek and Raine were able to find love and passion. The ending had a little twist that I also enjoyed.
