Sisters in Mischief

Seldom have two women had so little and everything in common. One exudes the pedigree of high society while the other would rather party like a rock star. The two meet at college shortly after Astrid has been uprooted from her home, just as Dandy is setting her eyes on the horizon. Both are drawn to musicians. The men who love them have their own story to tell as they establish their band. Kenny’s memoirs take us backstage and into the heart of the band’s public and private dramas: “There's only one person fully qualified to write a totally accurate, completely trashy kiss-and-tell book about this band, and the good news is that she wouldn't—thank God!” As the band takes on a life of its own, however, Astrid and Dandy realize that they will lose themselves if they don't make changes. Like sisters, they infuriate and inspire each other as they confront their fear of intimacy, overcome old hurts and become the people they want to be. Adulthood is not for the faint-hearted.
