Sins of the Father

In Sins of the Father, book #2 in Sister Christian Series, Hannah Rice is recovering from emergency surgery. In order to make her time in the tiny house more bearable and to find out more about his sister, Doctor Richard Mason begins sending for Hannah's items that have been locked away in storage for decades. As each box arrives and the antique item are unpacked, Hannah proudly relays their stories to him telling him tales of their mother's side of the family. Including the story of the original Renoir oil painting that Mason salivates over until he's told the beautiful nude woman depicted in it is none other than his own great-grandmother. All of these things also bring with them memories Hannah would rather leave buried but they can be denied no longer.
