Single-Syllable Steve

Taciturn, temporary bouncer Steve isn’t going out of his way to sweep shy nightclub book-keeper Celeste off her feet. But then again, he’s probably the least vocal man she's ever met. It doesn’t take long to figure out why he’s so resolutely unconversational, but until then, she can’t get the reserved giant out of her head—or her fantasies. Although his occasional flash of blinding smile suggests that he’s warming to her, she’s struggling to stand out in a club where the boss is a bully and all her colleagues are beautiful. But as Steve’s contract as club doorman looks to end sooner than planned, Celeste needs to raise her seduction game and find a way of connecting with him before he leaves, or she’ll kick herself for her cowardice forever…
