Synopsis For Sing To The Lord A New Song Compendium
By Doug Vermeulen

The theme that runs throughout the whole compendium of twelve books; is how do we arrive at a Church ‘without spot or wrinkle’?
How do we do Church so that will happen? What are the nuts and bolts of Church of that nature.
The author has stood on the shoulders of Christian giants of the past and present to gain perspective, and used the gift of synthesizing that the Lord has given him to put it all together.
Sprinkled throughout the book are revelations provided by the Lord to the author and his wife.
The 12 books look at how the Old Testament and New Testament are one, with the latter being the fulfillment of the former.
The 12 books provide detailed coverage of the wonderful way in which the demand for justice, and the need for mercy are reconciled.
Truth is never in the extremes but reconciled in the middle between the extremes.
The magnificent loving heart of Father God achieving reconciliation through the willing Son, Jesus, prepared to die for our sins, so that the Father could have mercy on us is looked at in great detail. The Holy Spirit raised Jesus up again on the 3rd day thus gaining victory over the grave
The author shows how the individual believer is an integral part of the whole Body of Christ. The scriptural ways and norms of bringing about unity and growth are at the same time are covered in great detail. The principle of substitution is expressed in many forms in the 12 books
We come to understand how the individual freedom of function, and acting for the corporate good of the whole Body of Christ can be expressed in a harmonious balanced way.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. The 12 books look at the manifold ways that Jesus fulfilled that statement. Normally, we hardly begin to grasp in what ways He is our all in all.
He fulfills the Will of the Father, and the Holy Spirit manifests His Will when the pattern is correct.
Over and over the question comes. How can we achieve true and lasting unity in the Body of Christ?
Each book of the 12 addresses that question, and then gives ways to remove the stumbling blocks that get in the way of unity
The author hopes and prays the reader will capture the Spirit of the book; which is one of peace and reconciliation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let’s do that where our Lord has asked us to do to take that message into all the world.
