Retired USAAF Lieutenant Colonel Bill Hunter is terminally ill. News of the discovery of his old plane, Hunter’s Eagle,ignites long extinguished memories in the ace pilot; recollections that bring him face to face with the pain and suffering of his early manhood; and the loss of his soul mate.  Elation and trepidation build when he discovers Anita still lives and the dive club, oblivious to the history between the pair, have organised a reunion.
