Involvement in a shipwreck, capture by savage pygmies, and by Borneo pirates, is paired with a more domestic account of enslavement within the walls of a certain Institution in the city of London.
Some followers of the great detective, Sherlock Holmes, are not yet aware of the remarkable circumstances surrounding the family of Dr. Watson's wife, Mary. The understandable impulse to maintain silence on certain private matters must be weighed against the need to disclose the true course of events.
