Get out of New Orleans.

It’s a simple task, for any tourist, to get on their plane or their bus or their car and leave New Orleans. After the fun of the fake skulls, the spooky stories, the alligator tours, and the other touristy attractions wear off, it’s easy to get out of New Orleans. But for Slanu Conn, a retired hitman from Philadelphia on one last, simple job in the City that Care Forgot, it’s not so simple. When he signed his soul away in a rotting mansion deep in the swamps, he figured it was more of the same tourist distractions. But the man’s words, and his glowing purple smile, played over and over in his head. “You’ll never leave New Orleans. You don’t have a soul to leave on.” Now Slanu Conn must race against time and his own sanity. The madness will consume him, and his own shadows will be his end. Slanu Conn came to town on a simple debt collection, but leaving isn’t so simple. What seemed like a simple task is now a fight for his life.
