Seeking Sinai

A rabbi discovers an ancient artifact that is inscribed with a story written by Herodotus, the greatest of Greek historians, renowned as the Father of History. This historical tale has been unread for three millennia and so shakes the rabbi's faith that he kills to keep the object and the tale it tells to himself.
