Saved At Sea

Classic Christian Fiction. The story of a young boy Alick and his Grandfather Jim. Set in Scotland in the late 1800's. Jim is the keeper of a lighthouse, and They live their life on a island,keeping the light going, and rescuing shipwrecked people whenever they can. This is a story of some of their adventures, and of one particular rescue and what came of it. 

Meet The Author

Amy Catherine Walton, better known as Mrs O F Walton, was a British author of Christian Children's and teenage books, mainly but not exclusively fiction. She was born Amy Catherine Deck in 1849, and died in Leigh, Kent in 1939. Although she wrote many more books, it is A Peep Behind the Scenes and Christie's Old Organ which have remained well known, continuing to be published, until at least the late 20th century, along with occasional reprints of a few of her other works, such as Saved at Sea
