Salome' No Power Will Hold Me Down

This is a true story:
I was never fortunate enough to have enjoyed social teenage development years.
Sexually abused from 11 years old.
Kept out of the schooling system
Locked up like a criminal
Spent years running from the law
Shunned by my parents
Having two children with different fathers due to sexual abuse (within the family) by the age of 14
Competing against my mother for a guy’s affection
Enduring the hardship of my youngest daughter being severely burned in a house fire
Learning that my eldest daughter was illegally adopted by my mother
Although not being a woman with financial means or an academic education. At 49 years I am now victorious. I have three wonderful children and two grandchildren. And still happily married to my sweetheart for 32 years. It is possible to rise above the situation. It does however; take a positive mind-set to attain this.
My hope with this book and others which will follow. Is to encourage those who are living in a “No hope” situation. You can arise from the cinders.
