Everything in Ruby’s life changed when she met Jax at the Coffee shop. She was moving along in life living a seemingly happy single life with her flirtatious best friend Traci who liked to bring home guys she met at the Roller Derby Bout’s. Ruby was happy working at the Tattoo shop working towards someday maybe becoming a tattooist herself. She was an artist like her father and sold her artwork at the shop and had a great group of friends, life was going really well or so she thought until she met Jax.

Jax was unlike any other guy she had ever met before and at first site he wasn’t even her type of guy that she usually was attracted to, but he showed her a life and love that she never thought or knew was possible and as hard as if was for her to adjust to his attention and affections she loved what it did to her and how it made her feel so she tried to embrace it not wanting to let go of the feeling.

They came from completely different lives, Jax was an American that came from a very close and loving family but he migrated to Australia to start a new life after visiting for holidays when he fell in love with Australia. Ruby came from a loving but broken family which was spread out all over Australia and struggles to build a relationship with her unwell biological father. But the connection between Jax and Ruby was too powerful for either of them to ignore. He was extremely open and very interested in her life wanting to know all about her and family but because she came from such a very different life from his she found it hard to open up to him, scared that he wouldn’t understand her or her family and would leave her, so she only shared with him as much as she had too, as much as she could without scaring him away.

She began to trust him like she was unable to trust any other lover in her past and the walls that she built up over the years to protect herself from hurt, confusion and rejection, very slowly came crashing down, letting him finally in to see the REAL Ruby.

He showed her how to Trust . . . Love . . . Feel . . . and Come ALIVE.

She felt reborn and truly embraced her new life that Jax had shown her. As Ruby tries to battle with her inner demons and struggles to build her relationship with Jax, a life changing event happens to her that could bring her and Jax even closer or tear them apart forever...
