Romeo Delta 2

Erin Wilco was nothing more than a low-level worker aboard a city sized space station when the meltdown happened. She fled like everyone else in the hope that she could escape the suffocating nightmare, but luck was not on her side. She was trapped aboard a derelict space station for several months and got to witness firsthand what it is like when society collapses. Four months later, after Sky Base 10 was sent into a freefall towards a planet called Dusk, Erin is forced to recount her terrible story of heartache, but no one believes her. People want to know what happened aboard Sky Base 10 without knowing the ugly truth. They want a sugar-coated reason as to why so many people had to die and blame it on a single person. They also want to know why Erin’s hands were on the controls when the station was sent on a collision course. She claims that there were monsters born in a place called Romeo Delta 2, but there is no evidence and insanity ebbed by a mind’s illusion seems to be the only answer. With her wild stories of arcane horrors, only a fool would trust her words, and nobody wants to hear a sob story, especially on Dusk.
In a cruel world like Dusk, everyone is looking out for themselves and for ways to get off that damn rock. It is harsh and without remorse and the only people that seem to be on her side are a loudmouth tabloid journalist by the name of Eddie Knox and his partner Romney. The only questions now are, can Eddie and Romney unravel the convoluted mystery of Romeo Delta 2 to prove Erin’s innocence, and more importantly, will it sell?
